This logo was created as practice for mascot logo design. I began with an animal moodboard from which I began sketching various designs and settled for a dog. Instant mascot recognition is crucial so determining signature dog features first was essential to a good sketch. I brought the sketch to Illustrator where I could trace and polish my lines and add remaining detail. In the end, I went with a simple white face with brown accent colours which are universal and compliment each other well.
