Cloud Gaming is an online gaming community that owns several online servers; they came to me for a new logo with free reign of the design apart from their blue and white colour scheme. I began by creating a mood board to see what represents gaming visually and different cloud formations; I experimented with typographic logos, abstract symbols, and turning a controller into a cloud shape which appealed to the client and myself. After meetings, we chose the best ones and vectored them out in Illustrator, playing with the thickness and the fonts as seen in both the concepts. In the end, the client wanted to combine both the concepts, the thickness and the narrowness from Concept 1 into the cloud shape from Concept 2 to create the final logo.
